And the day came where the risk to remain a bud was more than the risk to bloom - Anais Nin
To me, NURTURE is a lifestyle and this page was a place to show what the Live-Nurture lifestyle looks like to me. One of my favorite phrases is, la vie en fleurs. It is a meld of one of my favorite songs, quotes, and how I try to live my life, always to the fullest. Hence, life in bloom. I was raised in Texas and Kansas and attended Baker University receiving my Bachelor of Science in Molecular Bioscience. I quickly realized that life in a lab was not my best life (no offense to the tardigrades, ask me for more details!). I then attended Creighton University in Omaha, where I earned a nursing degree, and ultimately graduated with a Doctorate of Nursing in 2017.
My background started with a love for cardiology but ultimately decided my calling and passion was not in acute care but in preventative care. I found her calling as a Family Practice Provider and cherish the relationships I have developed with my patients. I work as a primary care provider in Dallas, Texas at The Grove. I value helping my patients to live their lives in bloom as well through improving health practices and seeking a life in full bloom.
Pickle has been my sidekick through all life has offered. In my spare time, I enjoy running, yoga, podcasts, audiobooks, healthful cooking, traveling to new places (mostly to hike), and spending time with her wonderful family and friends around the Dallas area.
